Matvick turns 50 in 2023. He’s a comfortable listen and is known for his work as a sports anchor and reporter at various stations in the Upper Midwest.
Noon- D2 Semifinal: West Florida at Ferris State
ESPN+: Noah Reed, Marcus Ray
Noah Reed has gotten good smallish college football assignments in the past
 
3 PM- D3 Semifinal: Wartburg at Mount Union
ESPN+: Michael Reghi, Ryan Cavanaugh
Reghi did TV of Cavs basketball from 1993 to 2006 and Orioles baseball from 1997-2004 also on the tube. He always wears a smile.
3 PM- Army West Point vs. Navy
CBS: Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson, Jenny Dell
Westwood One: John Sadak, Ross Tucker, Tina Cervasio
Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson who grew up under parents of the World War II era. They both get the chills working the event. Meanwhile, Sadak on radio, got his first fulltime event in Cincinnati, promoted to the number one role on Reds TV.
3:30 PM– D2 Semifinal: Shepherd at Colorado School of Mines
ESPN+: Ted Emrich, Taylor McHargue
The Colorado School of Mines is a public research university in Golden, Colorado, founded in 1874.
3:30 PM- D3 Semifinal: Mary Hardin-Baylor at North Central (IL)

For what it’s worth, where I live in Las Vegas, one of the pioneer casino owners was an engineer trained at the Colorado School of Mines who figured out he could make more money in a different business!

The Army-Navy game also marks the 59th anniversary of Tony Verna cuing the tape of a Rollie Stichweh TD for Army and Lindsey Nelson saying, “They did not score again! This is an instant replay,” and Verna saying in his ear, “What do you know! It works!”
