On CBS, NBC or ESPN, Ryan presided over the NFL, the Stanley Cup, boxing, NCAA basketball, tennis' U.S. Open, the Olympics, ski racing, figure skating, Equestrian competitions and then some. Ryan is the author of 'On Someone Elseʼs Nickel.' It was published by Radius Book Group. Ryan was honored in 1987 by the Boxing Writers of America with the Sam Taub Award for Broadcast Journalism.
