NFL Week #11: NBC takes spotlight carrying Chiefs-Raiders from Las Vegas Sunday night

NFL # Week 11

Byes: Buffalo, Chicago, New York Giants, San Francisco, 14 games are scheduled, 12 on Sunday

Break down: CBS: 6; Fox: 5; NFLN/Fox: 1; NBC: 1; ESPN: 1

CBS has a single game and Fox the doubleheader on Sunday afternoon

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman work a couple games, Thursday and Sunday

Chris Myers and Dick Stockton are off this weekend. This Sunday, Stockton celebrates his 78th birthday.

Jim Nantz rejoins Tony Romo in Baltimore for opponent Tennessee. Nantz had the Masters last weekend and Romo was off. Andrew Catalon didn’t work the NFL last week but had on-air duties at the Masters. He’s back this weekend. The Masters which was pulled off beautifully by both the lords of Augusta and CBS took a major hit with its ratings. Sports Media Watch says that ratings for the final round were down 51%, its worst performance since 1957! The golf went up against the NFL. The final round did only a 3.4 rating. The Tiger win a year ago did a 6.9.

NBC gets a chance to up its Sunday night NFL ratings this weekend when it airs Kansas City (8-1) at Las Vegas (6-3), the two top teams in the AFC West. The Raiders beat the Chiefs 40-32 back in October in Kansas City.
