NFL Week #12: Thanksgiving Day Doubleheader, 12 Sunday games plus Mon and now Wed at 3:40pm

CBS has the doubleheader, Fox the single game.
Changes and more changes. They continue. Now that the Baltimore-Pittsburgh game, moved from Thursday night, to Sunday afternoon to Tuesday night has now been moved again – to Wednesday at 3:40pm ET on NBC. Mike Tirico and Tony Dungy will do Sunday night’s Chicago-Green Bay game and Tirico and Cris Collinsworth get Ravens-Steelers. Rocky planning week for the announcers. Had the Baltimore-Pittsburgh game been played Sunday afternoon, Al Michaels was going to work but with the switch to Tuesday and now Wednesday, Tirico gets the two games he was promised this weekend.
Let’s call the Wednesday game, the Christmas Tree Game. It’s been reported that NBC is insisting that it show the lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center live. Tradition. NBC was the network that ran the famed Heidi Game in 1968.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman worked Thanksgiving and are off Sunday. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo were assigned both Thanksgiving and Sunday games.
Just noticed and it’s hard to believe. Kenny Albert is in his 27th season covering the NFL for Fox.
Adam Amin who’s on the NFL this weekend will also do college basketball for the network this winter. Amin, the former ESPNer, has already done baseball for Fox too. If that’s not enough work, Amin was hired to replace the retiring Neil Funk, longtime Voice of the Chicago Bulls.
