NFL Schedule

NFL Week #15: includes one tonight, a Saturday tripleheader, 11 on Sunday and Monday Night Football

  • Sad to hear that Al Michaels won’t participate in the playoffs this year. Al provides the comfy feel after all his years covering the  NFL.
  • Should be good to listen to Rich Eisen again. Never sounds artificial, He was himself on NFL casts from Europe earlier in the season. Has a different tweak on the microphone.
  • Two of the three play-by-play voices on the NFL Network this weekend are indigenous, Eisen and Chris Rose. The third is a heritage of CBS, the marvelous Kevin Harlan.
  • In June 2023, the NFL Network was available in 51.5 million homes. It’s declined from 71.9 million homes in February, 2015, according to Google.
  • Cleveland’s excellent and beloved play-by-player, Jim Donovan was forced to miss a good chunk of the season due to illness.  Chris Rose of NFLN had filled in for him. It seems that Donovan is back for Cleveland’s home games.
  • The Foxies have the doubleheader and CBS gets the singleton.
