NFL Week #16: Playoff seeds at stake; Vikings-Saints on Christmas, 3 Saturday and 11 Sun games + MNF

At times it appears that the NFL season has trudged along. The weekly schedule has been improvised when needed to make things work. So it’s hard to believe that he we are, having reached week #16.
NFL Network and Amazon on Saturday will use CBS and Fox announcers this weekend on their scheduled play-by-play. Amazon runs two games in Week #16. NFL Network has two exclusively.
Alongside the FOX and NFL Network broadcast on Friday which will be worked by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, Hannah Storm and Andrea Kremer, the shopping behemoth’s usual Thursday night duo will call the game on the video stream.
On Saturday, Amazon Prime has a national exclusive. The San Francisco at Arizona game will be available on the Amazon stream only. The two local markets do get the game on over the air television. Instead of being assigned to a CBS regional game, Andrew Catalon and James Lofton, will be on the Amazon exclusive stream. You might recall that Yahoo had an exclusive NFL stream in the past.
This weekend, Fox has the doubleheader and CBS runs a single game.
Fox has 5 regional games on Sunday and CBS has 5.
As written last week, Chris Spielman is off the Fox NFL depth chart. He took an executive job with the Detroit Lions.
Fox’ Rams-Seahawks game on Sunday gets the largest regional distribution overall, 69%. CBS’ Indy-Pittsburgh goes to 53% of the country, the network’s widest swath on Sunday. No surprise, only 6% and 17 markets get Cincinnati at Houston.
