Amazon and Al Michaels
The purveyors draw income from several sources including rights from local telecasters, increased material sales, ability to easily access them, increased viewership fees, ads to events and more Streamer splashes.

Al Michaels, 80, likely the best network NFL play-by-player ever, having stared in 1970 is likely to re-sign with Amazon TV. How much dough would Amazon commit to pay Uncle Al? The play-by-play announcer will likely return for 2025. Media writers Andrew Marchand and Richard Deitsch project Michaels will be back.
The rumblings continue that Michaels might continue on a single, year-to-year basis, paying him between $10 and $15 million. God bless Al. He’s had a lot to do with the growth of the league.

All games are on this weekend at 100%, market-by-market, essentially dictation by distribution, and little slippage.
Westwood One doesn’t typically fill 100% of the country. When it does, it’s semi-finals and the Super Bowl. The NCAA Tournament are also on national radio.
From my naked eye, it appears that revenues are down on the network side, college or NFL. Not too much!
